Getting Involved with the Center
The Center and affiliated researchers/organizations will be looking for local interns/research assistants for the Summer 2016 semester. Please see “Job Openings” for internship descriptions and application directions. They will be posted in mid-March.
Getting Involved on Campus
Many colleges and universities have student groups focused on criminal justice reform, including drug policy reform. Student Alliance for Prison Reform and Students for Sensible Drug Policy have chapters/groups on a number of campuses, or you can start your own.
More and more schools are starting education programs in prisons, and there may be opportunities to volunteer. Check out the Prison Studies Project to find a program near you, or see if your campus has a chapter of the Petey Greene Tutoring Program.
